About Sakura Rabbitry

Sakura Rabbitry is owned and operated by Cassidy Martin. I am located in west central Indiana, focusing on Jersey Woolies and French Lops, striving to produce quality rabbits to the ARBA Standard of Perfection. I have buyers all across the country and work with several transporters.                                                                                                               I started raising rabbits back in 2017, purchasing a tortoise Mini Rex buck from a close friend. From there, I discovered Lionheads and got my first pair of does, one of which became my most decorated rabbit to this day, finishing her career with over 10 legs, 20+ BOB, and multiple BIS honorable mentions. In 2019, I purchased a pair of French Angora bucks from a 4-Her in the neighboring county. This would lead to my love of wool breeds. Then, I got my first doe (jr black) and a new buck (jr rew). Convention of 2021 I got my first pair of French Lops. Little did I know, this would lead to a total lop takeover in the rabbitry. I strive to breed high quality, healthy, and show correct French Lops. I now have my lines all across the US improving the type in multiple herds. For the 2022-23 season, I finished my sweepstakes with 10th in the nation for youth and 1st in the district. I started Jersey Woolies in November-ish of 2022.
